Due to the fact that the Vienna Poetry Film Festival needs at least half a year longer preparation time, we are already inmiddle of organizing the Art Visuals & Poetry Festival 2019.
The reason, why it takes more time than at other film festivals is as follows: Many poetry films are specially created for the Vienna Poetry Film Festival. The call for entries will usually kept open for 6 months to give enough time to create poetry and text films. This concerns above all the “Special Award” after the festival poem, but also the main competition.
Although there is currently a very pleasing intermediate level. However, some decisions still need to be taken before the new calls can be launched.
