On November 21, 2020 a total of 16 poems by the Viennese authors Antonio Fian, Manfred Chobot and Sigrun Höllrigl. The recordings serve as a basis for further poetry film productions. A poem by Antonio Fian will be selected for the poetry film competition of the sixth Art Visuals Poetry Film Festival 2021.
In addition, further poetry films will be created from the recordings.

The call for entries of the fifth international Poetry Film Festival Vienna has been launched. Wer are looking for poetry short films (duration: 2-30 minutest. The call for entries has been submitted to all art universities in German Speaking countries.
The main competition AWARD GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRIES is dedicated to film makers from German Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The intercontinental competition SPECIAL AWARD is dedicated to a poem of a young female Austrian writer – Sophie Reyer. You can download the poem as a sound recording for free on our website www.poetryfilm-vienna.com.
The prize money will be in all 1500 Euros or more.

The Art Visuals & Poetry Film Festival will take place from November, 29 to Dec, 1, 2019 at Metro Kinokulturhaus Vienna.
Art Visuals & Poetry shows in cooperation with Künstlerhaus three films of the Georgian film makers Giga George Chkheidze. The screening will take place on February 5, 2019 at Stadtkino im Künstlerhaus. Three of the most successful productions of George Chkheidz will be shown in a retrospective.
The artist will be present and talk about producing film at the end of the former Sovietunion and the changes after the capitalistic turn.
